Kimberly DelVecchio is a seasoned licensed physical therapist with 30 years of experience, renowned for her comprehensive approach to rehabilitation and wellness. TPI certified and a Fellow of Applied Functional Science (FAFS) through the Gray Institute, Kimberly specializes in functional biomechanics. In 2012, she was certified as an NG360, Nike Golf functional performance trainer, powered by Gray Institute. The official Gray Institute & Nike golf program has since ended; however, the training and expertise live on in those who were certified. Additionally, Kimberly holds multiple certifications in advanced manual therapy techniques and recently sold her thriving PT practice, Integrative Physical Therapy, in New York after 24 years of success. Relocating to Venice Florida, Kimberly created Venice Concierge Physical Therapy (VCPT) where she prides herself on offering personalized care that addresses the unique needs of each patient.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Russell Sage College in 1994, Kimberly embarked on a mission to transform patient care. In 2000, she founded Integrative Physical Therapy (IPT) in Clifton Park, NY, a clinic dedicated to one-on-one specialized therapy, diverging from the conventional, high-volume physical therapy models. Her commitment to individualized treatment plans and hands-on care has set IPT apart as a center for excellence in patient outcomes. After 24 years of successful business, and having trained countless PTs to carry on her work, she sold her business in 2024.
Kimberly’s personal experience with debilitating back pain early in her career profoundly influenced her therapeutic approach. Seeking answers for herself, better outcomes for her patients and to keep her clinic on the leading edge, she continually received advanced trainings and certifications including: Graston technique, ART – Active Release Technique, Myofascial release, Craniosacral therapy, Visceral manipulation, Strain-counterstrain techniques; as well as manual therapy courses by Dr. Stanley Paris. Over the past 25 years, Kimberly has worked and trained side by side with amazing Osteopaths. Additionally, she has extensively studied the Egoscue Technique and Gary Gray as a fellow of Applied Functional Science from the Gray Institute. A long-time meditator, her comprehensive methodology emphasizes not only physical rehabilitation but also the importance of mental and emotional well-being in the healing process.
Upon relocating to Venice, Florida, Kimberly established Venice Concierge Physical Therapy, bringing her extensive expertise directly to patients’ homes, fitness clubs and golf courses. This concierge model allows for personalized, in-depth sessions, focusing on functional movement assessments and sport-specific rehabilitation. Kimberly's approach is particularly beneficial for athletes seeking to enhance performance and prevent injury, as well as individuals aiming to improve mobility and quality of life.
Kimberly’s practice encompasses a wide range of specialties, including:
Her comprehensive skill set enables her to address complex musculoskeletal issues, chronic pain conditions, and performance optimization with a multifaceted approach.
Recognizing the need for accessible, effective rehabilitation options, Kimberly launched Do-It-
Yourself PT (DIYPT), an online platform providing comprehensive therapeutic exercise programs. These programs are designed to empower individuals to manage and alleviate pain through guided, at-home exercises, reflecting Kimberly’s belief in patient education and self-efficacy. The DIYPT platform offers sequenced video instructions, educational resources, and personalized support, making quality physical therapy accessible beyond the traditional clinical setting.
Beyond clinical practice, Kimberly is dedicated to educating both patients and fellow practitioners. She conducts workshops and lectures on topics such as: How to play golf without pain; How to evaluate your patient to get to the source of the problem: Comprehensive Postural, Gait & Functional testing; The body-mind connection; and Functional movement strategies for pain relief. Her teachings emphasize the importance of understanding the body’s biomechanics and the role of mental focus in achieving optimal health.
Kimberly trusts in the body’s innate ability to heal itself when provided with the right tools and guidance. It takes time to do a proper assessment and it can require time for both the corrective manual therapy combined with teaching the right home program to retrain specific movement patterns. However, she believes that the human body is amazing and that it can make lasting changes and improvements at ANY age! Kimberly say, “ALL bodies can improve, change, heal with the right understanding and skill! It may take some effort on your part, as well as mine, but together, it is possible!”.
Her approach combines evidence-based practices with advanced therapies, fostering an environment where patients feel supported and empowered throughout their healing journey. Her commitment to continuous learning and adaptation ensures that she remains at the forefront of physical therapy advancements, consistently delivering exceptional care to her patients.
